New emerging applications such as nanophotonics, terahertz imaging, biomedical, and sensory systems have also become extremely important. Over the past few years, we have witnessed a significant increase in research in these emerging areas. This year, GLSVLSI will host an outstanding Sunday tutorial that will encompass participation of a highly distinguished faculty group who will showcase the latest research in three exciting research areas and present a platform for the discussion of algorithms, devices, circuits and systems that result from research in these emerging technologies.
